A little about me...
Ahhh…the simple things in life! This is what I truly love. I love teacups, baking, love stories, crocheted blankets, elegant stationary, pretty cotton dresses, and nature.
My passion for all things creative began when I was a wee little one. I was probably about 7 years old. My wonderful mother and grandmother taught me everything from crocheting, knitting, sewing, baking, cooking, and gardening. I still have some of my first projects! I will never part from these!
Still to this day, I love creating items that make people smile. This is what I call the simple things in life – although simple, they can be some of the most beautiful and endearing things that inspire our everyday living. It’s time to be inspired! Life should be inspiring!
Upon graduating from Fashion Design at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario, I spent the summer working as an Assistant Production Manager for Brian Bailey, one of the best Canadian Designers! In the fall I went on to finish my honors degree in Art History and Fine Arts at the University of Western Ontario, in London, Ontario. Upon graduation, I worked several years in the fashion industry in Toronto. I have learned so much and I am incredibly grateful to have acquired many skills to enable me to pursue my passion of inspiring lives with Crumb Designs!
Enjoy!
