About

“With the use of colours, charming floral and geometric patterns, and design, I enjoy inspiring people to create nourishing meals for themselves and their loved ones. All that is needed is love and a gorgeous apron.”

Crumb’s line of hand-made aprons are classy, and flirty, with a hint of nostalgia.  Crumb aprons are specially handmade from carefully selected fabrics, buttons, and trimmings.

With a keen eye for craftsmanship, the designer, Jennifer Lucas, likes to make sure that all the details are taken care of in creating a special item that will become cherished keepsakes.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Ahhh…the simple things in life! This is what I truly love. I love teacups, baking, love stories, crocheted blankets, elegant stationary, pretty cotton dresses, and nature.

My passion for all things creative began when I was a wee little one. I was about 7 years old. My Mother and Grandmother taught me how to crochet, knit, sew, bake, cook, and even garden.  I still have some of my first sewing projects!

Still to this day, I love creating things that make people smile. This is what I call the simple things in life – although simple, they can be some of the most beautiful and endearing things that inspire our everyday living.

Upon graduating from Fashion Design at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario, I spent the summer working as an Assistant Production Manager for Brian Bailey, one of the best Canadian Designers. In the fall I went on to finish my honors degree in Art History and Fine Arts at the University of Western Ontario, in London, Ontario. Upon graduation, I worked several years in the fashion industry in Toronto. I have learned so much.  I am incredibly grateful to have acquired so many skills that have enabled me to pursue my passion for design.
